National Autistic Society

Parent Lifeline – Parent Lifeline is a registered charity, founded in 1978 as a telephone helpline for parents. The charity offers emotional support and understanding to parents under stress of any kind, whatever the ages of their children.

Sheffield Parent Partnership Service – this provides impartial information, advice and support to the parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Parent Partnership can offer advice over the telephone or in person.

Sheffield Asperger’s Parents Action Group (SAPAG) – campaigns for issues regarding adults with Aspergers.

Sheffield Autistic Society

Sheffield Carer’s Centre – an independent charity and company, working to identify carers in Sheffield and to offer them a range of information, advice and support services. The Centre is part of a network of similar centres across the country, co-ordinated by the Princess Royal Trust for Carers. The Centre was founded in 1993 and moved into its current premises in Bells Court in 2003.
